Food Intolerances & Allergies

Food intolerances and allergies in babies and young children can be difficult to identify and even harder to manage without the right guidance. Our GPs and in-house dietitian work together to help you understand what's happening and find a clear path forward.

Recognising the signs

Food intolerances and allergies don't always present in obvious ways. Persistent reflux, unsettled behaviour, skin reactions, digestive discomfort, poor weight gain and feeding difficulties can all point to an underlying intolerance or allergy that hasn't yet been identified.

If you've noticed a pattern but haven't been able to pinpoint the cause, an assessment is a good place to start.

Assessment and management

Our GPs and dietitian work together to assess what you're observing, look at possible triggers and guide you on what to change, test or monitor next. Rather than managing symptoms in isolation, we look at the full picture to understand what's actually contributing and develop a plan that reflects your child's individual situation.

Where allergy testing or specialist input is needed, your care team will coordinate it and refer to trusted specialists as part of your ongoing care.
